Why We Do This
Our work grew out of our own home.
We wanted thoughtful, practical changes—not a full renovation. What we found were solutions that didn’t fit the scale or spirit of what we were trying to do.
By sourcing intentionally, reusing what made sense, and managing the work directly, we learned how much was possible without starting over. That approach now guides how we work with others—helping homes evolve with clarity, care, and respect for what’s already there.
Good homes deserve a second look.

Who We Are
We’re a husband-and-wife team who approach homes from two angles—balancing how a space feels with how it actually works.

Nora
Nora studied accounting and film photography, drawn to both structure and creativity and often looking at things from a different angle. Never quite fitting into one lane, she was more interested in how and why things work than in following trends.
Her career began in finance and evolved into business analysis, where she focused on listening closely, asking the right questions, and translating complex needs into practical solutions.
That perspective now guides her work with homes. In their first apartment together, Nora wanted the interior kitchen door painted yellow—simply because it made her happy. That instinct to honor how a space feels became the starting point for years of designing and managing homes alongside Geoff. Today, she helps spaces evolve by seeing what’s already there, understanding how people live, and shaping thoughtful, meaningful change.

Geoff
Geoff thinks practically and spatially, with a natural ability to see how things could work better. After more than a decade in FP&A identifying inefficiencies and improving systems, he built his own successful business by questioning how things had always been done and creating a better approach. That instinct—to challenge defaults and design smarter systems—carries through everything he does.
Alongside his professional work, Geoff has long been involved in real estate, owning and managing multiple investment properties over the years. Now a realtor, he’s drawn to overlooked homes, seeing their potential and how thoughtful planning can bring it forward.
At Pretty Good Bones, Geoff brings an architect-like mindset—focused on planning, function, and making spaces work better for everyday life. Where Nora often identifies the what—the feeling or possibility a space could hold—Geoff focuses on the way, working through function, flow, and feasibility to make it real. Pretty Good Bones grew from that shared approach.
